Zongzi

Zongzi (粽子) is a traditional Chinese food made of glutinous rice stuffed with various fillings and wrapped in bamboo leaves. The wrapping is tied with twine, and the zongzi is steamed or boiled until cooked.

Zongzi are typically pyramid or rectangular in shape and come with a wide variety of fillings that vary by region. Fillings include savory ingredients pork, mushrooms, dry shrimp and chonch meat.
